Branding Images for Acupuncture Studio – Project Overview:
I recently had the pleasure of creating branding images for acupuncture studio Artemisia Clinic. For this marketing & branding photography project the goal was to create warm and inviting images. And to show the services offered by the Artemisia Acupuncture Practice. The images created are for the brand website as well as for the business’s digital and print marketing. And, as is always the case with small businesses, the face of the business is important. So we included professional portraits for clinic owner Dr. Clara Wetmore. To be cohesive with the Artemisia brand the image style is natural and warm. We focused on capturing the practice, space, and portraits with a natural light look and feel. Choosing to avoid the sterile appearance often used to represent medical practices.
About Artemisia Clinic:
Artemisia Clinic is an intuitive classical Chinese medicine clinic in Taos NM. Owned and operated by Dr. Clara Wetmore. The clinic offers acupuncture, herbs, cupping therapy, and a range of other treatments. Clara grows and forages many of the herbs used in her practice. Her clinic is a serene and peaceful space that encourages healing and wellness in a wholistic manner. Artemisia Clinic specializes in treating women’s health through classical Chinese medicine. Fun Facts:
I’ve known Clara for many years. And thanks to the internet we’ve kept in touch despite the fact that neither of us live in New York anymore. For Clara’s branding & marketing photography I decided to drive down to Taos NM from the Bay Area. It takes about 18 hours to drive from Oakland CA to Taos NM. For me that’s the perfect road trip length. Along the way you pass through beautiful high desert country side, the Coconino National Forest, as well as Navajo and Zuni lands. I opted to spend a night in my tent on the way down. While setting up camp and having dinner I watched the thunderclouds and lightning in the distance. The fading daylight gave way for the most magical star filled sky.
