An Editorial on Women’s business attire: She wears the pants, and the bowtie.
I meant to write about this fashion photoshoot a while back, but I’ve been busy and it fell between the cracks. I just got back from a very interesting trip to Germany, Dubai, and Oman. A truly mind boggling experience. Its given me a new appreciation for fashion, which I wrote about a bit in my last blog post. So I’ll try not to repeat myself again. And instead tell you a little bit about these images which tackle women’s business attire.
This session was a really fun sunrise shoot with traveling model Zoe West. We got up before dawn to get the early morning light. The images for us are a commentary on women wearing menswear. Women in the workforce, including the tech industry which we all know has some issues to work out. And while tackling some big issues, in true Ella + Zoe fashion, we had to be a little funny and ironic. Because what’s the point of life if everything is so damn serious all the time. So, She wears the pants, and the bowtie, is a look at what professional attire is for women today.
What do you wear to work? How do you express yourself? Are there aspects of women’s business attire that you find restricting, limiting, or hilarious? Would love to hear your thoughts!
Hope you’ve enjoyed these images. As always if your interested in working together, or just want to say hi, drop my a note in the comments or contact form below.
